How to Connect Go High Level to Xero: Step-by-Step Guide for NZ Businesses

If your business is already using Go High Level (GHL) for CRM and automation, connecting it to Xero is now easier than ever.

The new native integration allows invoices created in HighLevel to automatically sync into Xero, reducing double handling and improving financial workflows.

Step 1: Open Integrations in HighLevel

Inside your sub-account:

Settings → Integrations → Xero

Click Connect.

Step 2: Log In to Xero

You’ll be redirected to Xero.

• sign in

• choose your organisation

• click Allow access

This securely authorises HighLevel to sync invoices and contacts.

Step 3: Choose Your Default Revenue Account

This is important.

Inside Xero, ensure the correct Chart of Accounts is enabled for payments.

Example accounts:

• Sales

• Services Revenue

• Consulting Income

• Prepayments

Step 4: Test an Invoice

Create a test invoice inside HighLevel.

Check that the following sync correctly:

• contact name

• invoice line items

• GST / tax

• currency

• status
