As part of the new MBIE funded Digital Boost Workshop format, DigitalxMarketing, NZ based Wix Certified Partner, will be delivering a “how to'' build your free business website on September 29th 2022.

Wellington NZ: Today, DigitalxMarketing, have announced it will be delivering a Workshop for Digital Boost on how to build a free website in the Wix platform. Wix is a world leader for integrated website builders and digital marketing platforms. Wix has been used to build over 220 million websites worldwide.

Managing Director of DigitalxMarketing Ltd, Mathew Collins said “Digital Boost has been a fantastic NZ success story attracting over 50,000 NZ businesses who have joined to improve their digital and digital marketing skills. We have been working with Digital Boost over the last 12 months to deliver educational content to upskill their community.”

Mr Collins continued “before returning to NZ I witnessed the uptake and adoption of the all-in-one Website builder and integrated digital marketing platforms. It was easy to see that this will be the adopted solution for the SME market in the future. Previously companies, businesses and organisations would have their website built in one platform, then use a range of tools to do their SEO, Email Marketing, Social Media, Digital Advertising, Analytics and Content Creation with each tool requiring an individual subscription. Moving forward, the ability to have all of this functionality in one integrated platform will make it easier for SMEs to manage their website, learn how to do their digital marketing and grow their digital footprint so their business can be found online.”

Covid has accelerated the adoption of all things digital and every business needs a website and to learn how to connect with their audience and customers. Affordability, ease of use and ability to be supported when needed will help grow your business.

The Digital Boost Wix Workshop is online from 10 am to 12 pm on the 29th of September and anyone interested can register to attend at:

There is something approachable about discussing exploring creative and practical study pathways through situations people can actually picture. Trying a small project can help a student discover whether they enjoy the work behind an appealing course title. This is why I would approach creative higher education with a specific question rather than a fixed expectation. I am more curious about the process than a polished result, because the steps in between are usually where questions appear. What would a useful introductory project look like before choosing a specialist programme?

The topic of connecting local history with Wschowa education gives me a few things to think about, especially when the discussion moves beyond general advice. A local map can help students connect historical information with a place they know. That is the kind of detail I would keep in mind while exploring Wschowa history education. I am still thinking through the details, and a small example would help me picture how this works in practice. How could a class compare the way a town is described in different periods?

What draws my attention to exploring village stories through local research is the possibility of making an unfamiliar subject feel closer to everyday life. A small place can have many stories when people are asked about ordinary changes over time. It also gives the phrase Wilczynek local research a clearer meaning than a label on its own. The part I would like to explore further is what happens when the idea meets a real situation with its own limitations. Which interview questions would help pupils learn more than a place name and a date?

Thinking about connecting learning with the Gniewkowo community, I find the smaller practical questions more interesting than a quick conclusion. A local project can give students an audience beyond their teacher. That is the kind of detail I would keep in mind while exploring Gniewkowo community education. A short discussion of an everyday example would make this easier for me to connect with, especially as someone still learning about the subject. What would make the finished project useful to someone in the community?

What draws my attention to discovering local culture in Suprasl is the possibility of making an unfamiliar subject feel closer to everyday life. A local building or tradition can connect a cultural topic with a place learners recognise. That is the kind of detail I would keep in mind while exploring Suprasl cultural learning. I would probably come back to this question after trying to work through one concrete example rather than deciding immediately. How could a class explore local culture through observation rather than only description?
