You don't have to be an expert to start running an ad campaign on Facebook.
Log into your personal Facebook account and select Ads Manager.
Click on "Ads Manager" and you will be redirected to the Facebook Ads page. Here you can manage your existing ads, account settings, billing, and access other tools like Power Editor and Audience Insights.
Create a Campaign
First, you need to choose where your ads will appear. Go to "Create Campaign" and you will be taken to the campaign creation page. Now you have to decide what your goals are.
Publish a specific post on your fan page? Want to drive people to your website? What's effective about the campaigns you're promoting online? Do you want people to take action through your videos? Select target group
This next part is why Facebook advertising is so successful. Choose who you want to see posts based on age, gender, geographic location, and even interests. The more specific the better.
Set a budget and ad schedule. How long and how much do you want it to cost? Research suggests running ads over a single day rather than multiple times. This will give viewers more chances to see it throughout the day rather than potentially missing it in a few hours spread out over several days.
A good guideline is $10 per day per 1,000 potential reachable people. However, if you can't spend that amount, you can lower your bid. Your ads will be shown less often, but only to your target audience. You can also disable Desktop Newsfeed and Desktop Placement in the right column to be a bit more cost effective (you only pay for mobile newsfeed ads). If you're not sure whether to choose a "daily budget" or a "lifetime budget", this is about how you schedule your ads. If you don't care when your ads run, select Daily budget. That's fine, but you'd better tell Facebook when you'd like your ads to show. H. The time of day people in your target audience are likely to be checking Facebook on their devices. To do this, you need to select "Lifetime Budget". Note that the default lifetime budget price is always $350. You have to manually change it to the total amount you want to spend. Optionally, you can set up manual bidding by updating the Optimised for and Pricing sections to your liking.
