Last year the New Zealand Government was one of the first countries in the world to enter a new Free Trade Agreement with the United Kingdom after leaving the European Union.
The reciprocal Working Holidaymaker visa concession was renegotiated. The new policy was introduced in July 2023 and allows up to 15,000 UK citizens per annum between the ages of 18 and 35 to come to NZ for up to 3 years and work without needing a Work Permit.
